Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program – Fall 2018  with Grace Ogden

 

MBSR Introductory Class and Orientation

Sunday, September 9, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, GWU Campus, Washington, DC

Thursday, September 13, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Takoma Park, MD

 

This two-hour class gives you an experiential introduction to MBSR and the opportunity to ask questions before starting the 8-week program. It also offers the opportunity to sample the course prior to registering.

The class is free and recommended for those registered for Spring MBSR. It is $20 at the door for those sampling the course. (Bring cash or check payable to Grace Productions LLC.)

MBSR on Sunday Afternoons: GWU Campus, Washington, DC

8 Sunday Afternoons and 1 Saturday Daylong Retreat

September 23, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11

Classes run from 1:30 pm to 4 pm – except Classes 1 & 8 are from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Retreat Day is offered Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, GWU Campus, Washington, DC

Class size 12-18

 

MBSR on Monday Evenings: GWU Campus, Washington, DC

8 Monday Evenings and 1 Saturday Daylong Retreat

September 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; November 5, 12

Classes run from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm – except Classes 1 & 8 are from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Retreat Day is offered Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, GWU Campus, Washington, DC

Class size: 12-18

In addition to classes and a retreat day, course materials include an activity booklet and online digital recordings in support of your 45-minute daily home practice.

Course material is the same on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings each week.  So if you are registered for Sunday classes and must miss one, you may attend that week’s Monday evening class and vice versa.
