Elizabeth Goldberg, LMT is the Group Wellness Program Manager at the GW Center for Integrative Medicine. She is a practicing massage therapist in the District of Columbia and a health and mindfulness educator.
Elizabeth is passionate about providing therapeutic, open, engaging, educational opportunities and spaces for all CIM patients, community members, students, and health-care professionals. Elizabeth’s professional background includes program management, fundraising, marketing, event planning, volunteer coordination, and strategic planning. Washington, DC organizations include Cultural Tourism DC, National Building Museum, Studio Theatre, Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, and love.fútbol. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of America, 2003 – 2009 and is a proud member of Think Local First.
Since 2013, Elizabeth has practiced massage in the Washington, DC area. Her areas of focus include neuromuscular dysfunction, migraines, fibromyalgia, anxiety, insomnia, and athletic injury recovery and performance. Elizabeth believes strongly in the power of touch and individual mindfulness as strong guides for the body’s natural healing process.
Elizabeth holds a BA from Smith College, graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute, and completed training with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Elizabeth’s hobbies include playing French horn, reading, running, and seeing as much theater as possible.
