Overview
About Madison
Madison Gnan is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong background in labor and delivery and women's health. A graduate of Colorado Mesa University, Madison has spent years providing exceptional care to women during their most transformative moments.
Madison’s interest in adjunctive care and wellness led her out of the hospital several years ago, when she expanded her expertise into infusion nursing. She focuses on delivering high-quality care through infusion therapies and health coaching.
Background
Personal Journey to Integrative Medicine
Over the past several years, Madison built her infusion nursing practice in Integrative Medicine settings, working closely with patients to provide personalized, convenient, and effective treatments in private, comfortable environments. This work strengthened her ability to manage complex infusion needs while maintaining the warmth and attentiveness she developed in labor and delivery nursing.
Her path to GWCIM reflects a natural evolution — from supporting women through some of life's most significant moments to supporting patients of all backgrounds in their healing journeys through integrative and adjunctive therapies. At GWCIM, she has found a team and a philosophy that align with her belief in whole-person care.
Clinical Practice
At GWCIM
Madison provides Intravenous (IV) Therapy and infusions, as well as education and support to patients on the healing path. She takes a holistic approach to each patient's care, using therapeutic touch and communication to ensure they feel heard, supported, and fully informed throughout their treatment journey.
Madison is excited to work closely with GWCIM integrative medicine practitioners who have built their practice around whole-person health and adjunctive therapies. She is a great team member who constantly learns and expands her expertise.
Personal Life
Beyond Work
Outside of work, Madison loves to explore the restaurants of her DuPont Circle neighborhood or DC parks with her husband, a toddler son, and her retriever, Breezy. Originally from Colorado, she was a backpacking guide through college and loves to travel back home for skiing and backpacking trips whenever she can, because she considers the mountains her "medicine." In her day-to-day life, Madison prioritizes her yoga practice, lots of sunshine, and really good food.
